Farmer’s Market – La Jolla / San Diego

What a find!!! Looking for fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, nuts and gourmet foods? Look no further than your own backyard. At La Jolla Elementary School at Girard and Genter they have a fabulous open air market every Sunday from 9am to 1pm.

Every Sunday, the upper playground at La Jolla Elementary is transformed into a colorful, friendly and wholesome Farmer’s Market. Go and experience the community feel, live music, colorful and creative artisans and Certified Farmer’s Market fruits, vegetables and flowers. Go hungry, they have a food court as well.

Just take La Jolla Village Dr west and take a left on Torrey Pines Rd. into the La Jolla village area, turn left onto Girard, you’ll see the school and market on your left within 2 blocks.

This is one of my favorite weekend things to do year round!!
